Special load carrier
The umbrella term ‘special load carriers’ (SLT) covers load carriers that are customised and specifically adapted to a particular component using special part holders (usually made of plastic).
Here is an example to illustrate this:
An automotive supplier produces plastic bumpers for cars at its production site. In order to be able to transport the bumpers economically and safely to the automotive group's site, a container is required that is specifically designed and adapted to this bumper in order to guarantee this economical and safe transport. Special load carriers can be developed and designed to be individually optimised for each component, thus enabling both a reduction in costs and a radical minimisation of transport damage.
